"this modern love" by Will Darbyshire

In celebration of Valentine's Day, I want to share a book I read a few years ago called "this modern love" by Will Darbyshire. The book is a compilation of letters, IG posts, emails, etc that Will received from his fans. His book goes into the many interpretations and encounters people had with love in the vastly evolving age of technology. Technology has bridged the distance between people giving access to almost instantaneous interaction with someone who could be all the way across the world. Here is an excerpt from the book and a fun little activity you can share with your loved one:


"But whenever I was tired or overwhelmed by the project, whether late at night or early in the morning, without fail I would come across a letter that would floor me with a single expression, or a line that perfectly summed up a feeling that I had never been able to articulate before. That made it all worth it... Whatever way you look at it, love is important. It might just be the most single important thing that we as humans can offer or receive..."
