Glitch.com will Sunset at the end of the year

I’ve been a long time user of Glitch Labs since I started learning web development and Linux systems. It helped me understand developing web facing applications using Node.js, interacting with mongoDB databases, and working with Linux for web development. It was great to quickly spin up a project and host it. Eventually, Fastly acquired Glitch Labs back in May 22, 2022 and now it is reaching its final stages of being completely absorbed by Fastly at the beginning of 2026.

Glitch Labs was an invaluable resource for testing, hosting client assets, and learning. Since, I’ve already downloaded all the projects hosted there, I am in the process of migrating them on a different platform… I am deciding on (Content Delivery Networks) CDNs at the moment.

As a reminder for other Glitch Labs, for those who haven’t exported out there projects yet, you need to do so before the end of the year. I want to thank Glitch Labs for providing a great service and helping me gain the knowledge I needed to be as a developer.
