SECURITY:AI: Meta's AI chatbot grants access to Instagram account!

Over this weekend, a Reddit post claimed that Instagram accounts were compromised by simply using Meta AI to request access to accounts. Several users have been hijacked including the "Obama-era White House" and U.S. Space Force's master sergeant John Bentivegna. As of this post, the vulnerability has been secured¹.

If you believe your account may have been compromised, consider taking mitigation and preventive measures². Such as:

• Update your password to your account
• Review email accounts if any suspicious activities have occurred
• Review credit card or bank account statements to determine if any suspicious activities have occurred
• Review logs.
